20 in total, spread over in 2 blocks of 06 and 04 each, overlooking majestic garden spaces and a river tributary, these tents stand a league apart, from what others have to offer in the vicinity.
Strategically placed on a raised concrete plinth, these camps in Rishikesh, are chemically treated to sustain heat & cold and provide amenities like Attached Washrooms, Electricity, Charging Points, Electric Heating Bags, Water Coolers etc.
The living area of the tent is approximately 12x12 feet and offers a comfortable Twin/Triple bedded accommodation, carpeted flooring, personal utility kit, mineral water bottles etc.
An individual block of 6 stand alone cottages, overlooking a huge lush green garden, these cottages are an mélange of Mediterranean and contemporary style living.
These cottages are designed with the concept of an en-rich wilderness stay and loaded with luxuries such as Air Conditioning, Running Hot/Cold Water, Queen sized beds and much more.
Comprising of a living area of approximately 18 x 18 Feet, these cottages can easily be occupied Twin/Triple basis, or small family. All other amenities such as Fan’s Personal Utility Kits, Mineral water bottles etc. are also provided.
Any adventure retreat booked at Aspen Camps, comprises of all major meals in a day and some in between munches/refreshments. The food is laid in a buffet with Skor wire chafing stands that comprises of Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines. An Ex-Hyatt chef heads the kitchen and he is an expert in helping our taste buds understand the flavors of typical India/Mughlai cuisine.
An evening at the camp is incomplete without a Bonfire and Bar-be-Que setup. At Aspen, every evening is enlightened with a delightful Bar-be-Que experience that offers a fine selection of Indian/Mughali/Chinese/Continental starters.
At Aspen, safety of our guests and our staff, is the utmost priority and we make no compromises with the same for any reason whatsoever.
We strictly adhere to the international safety code of conduct and all our outdoor instructors and trip leaders are First AID and CPR certified from Red Cross, India. All of our instructors/Trip leaders are minimum Basic/Advance certified in Mountaineering/Outdoor Survival from some of the major institiutions of the country.
The camping site has an in-house medical room with basic first-aid facilities and rescue equipment’s. We only use state of art equipment’s for all adventure activities including Camping & Rafting. It is for this reason; we have maintained our own equipment’s for outdoor activities. Then, twice in every year, our outdoor trainers undergo a training session for enhancement of their skills.

Rafting in Rishikesh is an experience that one remembers for a lifetime. The whistling white waters of the Ganges, gushing rapids, the foothills and the sprawling sun, are an ideal setup for this activity and Rishikesh has it all.
Rishikesh rafting excursion is mostly divided into 3 different stretches. The major point of differentiation is the length of the course of rafting and the grade of rapids. There are some basic criteria’s to determine which stretch is suitable for you and we highly recommend that let the river guide/ instructor take that call for you. These instructors are highly experienced and shall ensure the best for you in the river in terms of excitement and safety both.
Rafting from Bharampuri to Laxmanjhulla (9 Kms Approx.)
An exhilarating stretch covered in roughly 1.5 to 2 hours in the river, offering nearly 3-4 rapids of Grade II is an ideal option for elders, families with kids (Minimum 14 Years). Guests, coming for the 1st time for a rafting excursion, this stretch can be the ideal one. The rapids in this course are mild in nature and also, offer the thrills of Body Surfing and Cliff Jump.
Rafting from Shivpuri to Laxmanjhulla (16 Kms Approx.)
An intermediate leveled course in terms of difficultly, this stretch is the most favored one amongst the adventure enthusiast. With 13 odd rapids comprising of Grade II and III, it’s defiantly an intriguing amalgamation of thrill and pleasure.
The rapids in this stretch of river rafting shall certainly skip a rafter’s heartbeat. Taking nearly 3 to 3.5 hours, this course offers some of the finest rapids such as Golf Course, Return to Sender, Double Trouble & many more.
Rafting from Marine Drive to Laxmanjhulla (24 Kms Approx.)
This course completes the thrill of white water rafting in Rishikesh, as it offers the entire stretch of the river. The rapids negotiated in this course are of Grade II, III and III plus and are full of thrills and spills. It’s not just the rush of the rapids, but one gets some real good placid stretches to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Himalayas, take a dip in the blue waters or to catch a breath.
It takes nearly 4 to 4.5 hours to complete this course, offering the likes of Three Blind Mice, Crossfire, Black Money rapids.
Though rafting in Rishikesh sounds like an enthralling experience, but safety is one aspect that should never be overlooked during the course of this activity.
At Aspen, we provide you top-notch equipment’s like pedals, helmets, life jackets that will not only make your rafting experience thrilling but safe. Not to mention, our river guides and instructors during rafting carry a minimum of 05 years experience in the river and are trained by experts from the Armed Forces.
Being in the buffer zone of the Raja ji National Forest, Aspen Adventures, Rishikesh is just 30 Kms from the safari zone of the park. If you are a true wildlife/nature lover than this is one place you should definitely have on your list. Hop on to an open 4WD gypsy and witness the some the most amazing mammals and species of the Asian forests. Apart from Barking Deer, Himalayan Bear, Cheetah, Leopards, the park is an home for the might Asian Tusker elephants.
Aspen camp in association with Jumping Heights invites you to experience the thrill of 83 meters Bungee Jump. Besides Bungee Jump, we do also have giant swing and flying fox on our platter. Just 4 km (10 minutes) away from the platform is set for all these activities under the supervision of a highly experienced team from New Zealand. More than 5000 people have got their certificate of "Dare to Jump”. I must add that the back-out percentage is about 15%. Hence, this is surely not a piece of cake.
Yes, you need some guts if you “dare to jump” !!
Post rock climbing, you can try the rappelling technique of getting down a steep cliff which would require presence of mind and concentration more than physical power. The sheer excitement of coming down a cliff will make you completely forget all your worries.
As far as activities are concerned - besides white water rafting, jungle safaris, rock climbing, rock rappelling and treks, we also organise a few games in the natural waterfall. For indoor activities, we will not just organise cricket, badminton, volleyball, and other common games, we are specialised in involving our guests in management and fun games as human dragon, spider’s web, save the world etc.. Even during campfire, we do involve our guests into mild puzzles and fun activities.
